The 2019 Faculty of Education and Department of Education (FIP-JIP) Forum activities which were held in Malang and Batu, East Java took place from 2 October to 5 October 2019. FIP-JIP forum activities take place every 2 years. Two years ago, forum activities were held at Semarang State University in 2017. This forum was held to strengthen cooperation and communication between the Faculty of Education and the Department of Education throughout Indonesia. Especially about efforts to develop the quality of education for prospective teachers in Indonesia. The main supporters of this forum are the Faculty of Education at 12 State Educational Personnel Education Institutions (LPTK) that produce teacher candidates in the country, namely: Ganesha Education University (Undiksha), Semarang State University (UNES), Yogyakarta State University (UNY), Education University Indonesia (UPI,) Malang State University (UM), Surabaya State University (Unesa), Medan State University (Unimed), Gorontalo State University (UNG), Makasar State University (UNM), Padang State University (UNP), Manado State University (Unima), and Jakarta State University (UNJ). Another supporter is the Department of Education Sciences (JIP) at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at state and private universities throughout Indonesia.<\/span><\/p>\n

The series of activities of the 2019 FIP-JIP Forum in Malang, and Batu, East Java began with the Pentathlon\/Olympics between forum member students which was held on 2-3 October 2019 at the Faculty of Education, State University of Malang, Jl. Semarang 5 Malang. The competition fields consist of (1) Innovation in Education and Learning, (2) Research in the Education Sector, (3) Writing Scientific Articles and Written Ideas in the Education Sector, (4) Art Creation, and (5) BEM-Faculty Senate Website. The results of the competition were announced at the opening of the international conference which was a follow-up activity to this forum which was held at Singhasari Resort, Batu City, East Java. The results of the competition placed Undiksha Faculty of Education students as overall champions by winning first place in two competition categories (BEM-Faculty Senate Website and Arts Creation), second place in one competition category (Educational Research), and third place in one competition category ( Writing Scientific Articles and Written Ideas in the field of Education).<\/span><\/p>\n

After the pentathlon, the FIP-JIP forum activities continued with an <\/span>International Conference<\/span><\/i> with the theme “<\/span>Reorientation of Education in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 in Nation Development<\/span><\/i>“. The theme <\/span>International conference<\/span><\/i> includes (1)<\/span> Reorientation of Guidance and Counseling in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0; (2) Reorientation of Management, Leadership, and Educational Supervision in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0; (3) Reorientation of Special education in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0; (4) Reorientation of Non Formal in The Era the Industrial Revolution 4.0; (5) Reorientation of Curriculum and Educational Technology in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0; (6) Reorientation of Primary School Teacher Education in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0; (7) Reorientation of Early Childhood Education in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0; (8) Reorientation of Psychological Education in the Era Industrial Revolution 4.0<\/span><\/i>. Activity<\/span>International Conference<\/span><\/i> implemented in Singhasari<\/span> Resort<\/span><\/i> Batu City, East Java.<\/span><\/p>\n
