The faculty plays a role in facilitating all study programmes to develop curriculum through the provision of funds, facilities and infrastructure used in curriculum preparation and development. Curriculum development has become one of the most strategic programmes regularly carried out by the faculty to improve the quality of graduates and support a more conducive academic atmosphere, thereby increasing competitiveness at the national level.

The current curriculum in each department within the faculty is the 2012 curriculum, the 2013 curriculum, and the IQF curriculum. Each curriculum is used according to the year of the student generation.

The learning model used in the Faculty Programme is a learning model based on the PBL (Programme Base Learning), SCL (Student Center Learning) method, and the application of a competency-based curriculum. Coordination is always carried out between the management, the Department and Study Programme to ensure the full implementation of the learning process.

Faculties at UNDIKSHA strive to create an academic atmosphere and, at the same time, strengthen academic behavior for all academicians. Several policies carried out by the management to improve the academic atmosphere include academic programming activities such as leadership meetings with students (Student Communication Forum), limiting the number of supervisors, scientific autonomy, and academic pulpits to increase academic interaction between lecturers and students.

In creating an academic atmosphere, the manager emphasizes the importance of lectures with a semester credit system (credits) every semester in meetings between the master’s program leaders and new students.

The curriculum is designed to produce quality human resources in the field of education, using a semester credit system with a credit load of 146-148 credits, a 4-year study period at the earliest. In lectures, students are given insight into academic knowledge. Lectures are conducted face-to-face, covering academic activities in class and practical work in the laboratory, presentations, seminars, scientific papers, internship, writing, and thesis examinations.
