As a result of this enthusiasm, many innovations were born from students within the FIP Undiksha environment, both in the form of guidebooks and learning media that are relevant to changing times.
One of the interesting and unique innovations demonstrated by I Kadek Dwi Mahendra Jaya, a student of the FIP Undiksha Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, was through the innovation of audio-visual-based learning media. podcast a series of cartoon animations made for his final assignment as a Bachelor 1 student.
Through the learning media created, Dwi Mahendra hopes to solve the problem of learning difficulties for elementary school children, especially in class IV, on the material Pancasila as Life Values. “When conducting initial observations before making media, it was discovered that elementary school children like learning through audio-visual media, especially if packaged through cartoons that they like to watch on television,” said Dwi in an interview with the FIP Public Relations team (25/3/2024).
“The media in the form of animated cartoons is wrapped in learning materials that have been previously formulated, making students happy and enthusiastic in listening to the lessons delivered by the teacher,” added the student who is familiarly called Dwik.
Media in the form of podcasts Dwi was also chosen not without reason, this was chosen because combining audio, visuals, and cartoon animation in one medium provides a diversity of sensory stimuli that can facilitate a better understanding, especially at easier learning levels.
At FIP ??Public Relations, Dwi also expressed his hopes as a prospective educator to continue developing innovative and inclusive learning methods. By continuing to encourage and support innovation in education, by utilizing technology and creativity, we can create more interesting, interactive, and effective learning experiences for students.
