Singaraja – Family Night (MK) is the final series of Campus Life introduction activities for new students (PKKMB) Faculty of Education (FIP) Undiksha. The activity organized by the Student Executive Board (BEM) took place at the GDE Manik Arts Building, Singaraja (24/08/2022). On that occasion, the dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Gading, M.Psi., accompanied by Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. I Made Tegeh, S.Pd., M.Pd., Vice dean of General Affairs and Finance, Dr. I Wayan Widiana, S.Pd., M.Pd., Vice Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Department leaders, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., Coordinators of Study Program, and Student Advisor lecturers in the Undiksha FIP environment. In its implementation, students are invited to build togetherness wrapped in a frame of harmony between the academic community, as a form of implementation of the Tri Hita Karana philosophy. To be known, this Family Night begins with a seminar on the topic of Mental Health presented by academician FIP Undiksha, Dewa Ayu Puteri Handayani, S.Psi., M.Sc., then showed a video introduction to the room in the undiksha FIP environment, dress procedures, yells from new students, and game sessions in the morning. Then followed by the date of the new student participant sign by the dean of FIP Undiksha, and ended with Entertainment in the afternoon. In his speech, the dean of Gading said that in the future new students are expected to be able to adapt to the new environment in the Faculty of Education and always adhere to the values of God. The number one person in FIP Undiksha advised, the Family Night event is expected to be a forum for friendship between the FIP Undiksha academic community. It also encourages students to continue to develop themselves, so as to be able to become competitive students.
“Through this activity, I hope we can establish friendship, which must be expressed in a shared joy. Students must be able to adapt and not easily complain, because the difficulties and challenges are part of the learning process”, he concluded (PR. Dewa Nida)
