Singaraja- Students of the Faculty of Education (FIP) Undiksha, on behalf of Komang Dewi Widiani from the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) are again recorded as winners in the National Arena. Through the innovation of Sekaa Truna Truni (STT): a teenager in the post-pandemic regeneration of Balinese Indigenous culture, who is familiarly called Dewi, won second place in the LASANA 2022 National Essay Competition, organized by the Indonesian Language Department Student Association, State University of Malang (UM) on Saturday (03/09/2022).
Confirmed, Komang Dewi Widiani explained that Sekaa Truna Truni has a very important role in preserving customs and culture in Bali. This is in line with the theme carried out in this competition, “Preserving the Culture of Post-pandemic Indigenous Peoples”. For this reason, she initiated innovation with renewable studies, to increase the spirit of STT in carrying out its role as a cultured society.
For the information, Komang Dewi Widiani who is now in her 7th semester won several medals at the business plan event and national-level scientific papers for 2022. Certainly, her success cannot be separated from the special training that was carried out before appearing in this prestigious event.
This student originally comes from Tajun Village, Buleleng. She admitted that she was proud after winning the top three positions in the competition which was attended by dozens of students from all over Indonesia. She hopes that in the future she can make the faculty proud again, absolutely with new innovations.
“I hope that I can continue to participate in various competitions both nationally and internationally, as an effort to develop the ability to write scientific papers” said Dewi.
Furthermore, she also invited all FIP Undiksha students to always develop their interests and talents through various competitions, in order to support faculty ranking on the national level.
“Hopefully all FIP students will continue to be enthusiastic about achieving achievements to develop themselves and the campus,” she concluded.
This achievement received appreciation from the Vice Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., who represented the Dean, said that FIP ??Undiksha continues to strive to improve achievement, by maximizing coaching and mapping student potential.
“We always facilitate students as a step to maximize FIP Undiksha achievements in various competitions,” he said.
He also conveyed, as a form of appreciation, this achievement would be equivalent to course grades, with the hope that students would be more enthusiastic about participating in various competitions. “This achievement will be equivalent to the grades of the appropriate courses, hopefully with this there will be more FIP students who excel,” concluded Aditya.
