Singaraja – Students of the Faculty of Education (FIP) Undiksha have again shown their work on the national stage. This time, a student of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) I Gusti Komang Agus Angga Putra Widiarta won 1st place in the XVIII National Level Selection of Highly Qualified Youth (PRB) fronted by the Student Executive Body, Faculty of Education (BEM FIP) based in Undiksha Auditorium Building, Friday (28/10/2022). He, who represented FIP Undiksha, successfully completed a series of insight tests with a record score of 81.80. This achievement, of course, cannot be separated from the fruit of the special training that was carried out before appearing in this prestigious event.
After the activity, he who is familiarly called Angga, expressed his pride after being named a virtuous teenager. Furthermore, his party considers that the role of the younger generation is very important in realizing the transformation of a nation that has strong and intelligent character and noble morals. Therefore, this student who was born in 2002 is determined to echo the concept of character in order to build the nation in a better direction, towards Golden Indonesia in the year 2045.
“The nation’s transformation lies in the younger generation, and the foundation for that change lies in the character. For that, I hope that the younger generation can build better character, and become virtuous teenagers,” he said.
The incision was positively welcomed by the Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd. He who was present at the activity assessed that the achievements presented by Angga really supported the ranking of the faculty’s Simkatmawa. “This achievement will certainly add to our achievement data. I hope that in the future there will be many outstanding students like Angga. We have also created a community to improve student achievement,” said Aditya.
He also conveyed that his party and the student team would continue to provide guidance and prepare Angga as an Outstanding Student (Mawapres) FIP Undiksha. More than that, as a form of appreciation, he will equivalent the winnings to the course grades.
“We will develop Angga as Mawapres in FIP, and of course at the end of the year we will provide incentives to students who win. More than that, we at FIP ??will convert 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners into course grades,” he concluded. (hms Dewa Nida)
