Singaraja – Undiksha Faculty of Education (FIP) students I Gusti Komang Agus Angga Putra Widiarta and Ni Luh Puspa Pratiwi from the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) again made achievements in the regional arena. Innovative learning media integrated with the Ethnomatematics approach for elementary school students mentored by Drs. I Made Suarjana, M.Pd., won 2nd place in the scientific writing event 2022 Movement for Education and Sharing of Udayana Knights organized by the Student Executive Board of Udayana University, on Saturday (15/10/2022).
It was confirmed, Puspa, as he is familiarly called, explained that the lack of relevant learning media in the implementation of inclusive education was the main factor in creating this learning media. He explained that the learning media was implemented into Balinese culture, especially Upakara in Bali. The success of the outstanding FIP Undiksha students cannot be separated from the fruit of the special training that is taken regularly.
“Very proud, the long effort we have put in has finally paid off. What’s more, it can make the faculty proud,” he said.
Furthermore, the student born in 2022 said that this achievement would be used as a stepping stone to take part in similar competitions at the national and even international levels. He hopes that he can again donate medals to FIP Undiksha. He did not forget to invite FIP students to always innovate and develop their potential in order to realize superior FIP Undiksha.
“Dear FIP students, let’s improve our quality by participating in various competitions. Learn to get out of your comfort zone, start reading opportunities, and dare to take challenges,” he added.
