Singaraja –The Faculty of Education of Undiksha (FIP), through the Independent Campus Independent Learning Group (MBKM) successfully implemented the Independent MBKM program in 2022 which was echoed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek). In its implementation, it is deemed necessary to reflect on both the technical and administrative aspects as an effort to optimize the future MBKM program. Therefore, the MBKM FIP Undiksha Group held an MBKM Program Evaluation Sharing Session centered in the FIP Seminar Room, on Friday (02/12/2022) morning.
This activity was attended by the Head of Panji Anom Village, the Headmaster of Elementary School of Bebetin 4, and the Green School as resource persons, Motivator Teachers, and MBKM Students in 2022. Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. I Made Tegeh, S.Pd., M.Pd. who represented the Dean of FIP Undiksha accompanied by the Vice Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., Department Head of Basic Education, Drs. I Made Suarjana, M.Pd., Coordinator of PGSD Study Program, Dr. I Gede Margunayasa, S.Pd., M.Pd., and the TP Study Program Coordinator, Dr. I Komang Sudarma, S.Pd., M.Pd., officially opened the event.
In his remarks, he gave his full appreciation to the MBKM Group, Partners, and students, for the implementation of the MBKM program in 2022. He emphasized that this activity which was considered systematic and massive, greatly supported the achievement of Higher Education’s Key Performance Indicators (IKU).
“This Sharing Session is very good, so that we can monitor the weaknesses and strengths as a basis for making policies in the future. The MBKM cluster formed by the Dean greatly facilitates coordination with other stakeholders,” he said.
The Secretary of LPPPM Undiksha, Dr. I Gusti Lanang Agung Parwata, S.Pd., M.Kes., responded positively to the MBKM activities that had been carried out by FIP Undiksha. He said that the leaders always supports the faculty in implementing the MBKM Program.
“Thank you to FIP for carrying out the Independent MBKM Program well. It really helps increase our KPI at Undiksha. The need for MBKM activities, we will facilitate it, “said Lanang.
Meanwhile, the Head of the MBKM FIP Undiksha Group, Dr. Putu Nanci Riastini, S.Pd., M.Pd., said that the number of MBKM participants in 2022 has decreased from the previous year, however, she is optimistic that in the coming year there will be an increase both in terms of quantity and quality. In addition, this year the MBKM Flagship program showed a significant increase in the number of participants.
“This year the number of participants decreased slightly because last year many students took it twice, but in 2023 I am sure it will increase. On the other hand, the MBKM Flagship participants for the Teaching Campus have made a lot of progress,” explained Nancy.
To Public Relations, MBKM participant, Valentina Dewi Yosoa, from Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program said that she was very happy to have the opportunity to work directly in serving the village. Not wasting the opportunity, she and her team designed a number of work programs, including: making family medicinal plants, reading-writing-counting program, and making trash cans.
“Of course, I am very happy to be able to take part in the KKNT program, because I can learn directly from the village, teach children, and can communicate with the people in Selat Village,” said Valen.(PR Dewa Nida)
