Singaraja – Student Association of Elementary Education (HMJ Pendas) successfully completed the 2022 Echo of National Essay Contest, the closing of which took place in the Undiksha FIP Seminar Room, Friday (23/12/2022). This activity was also filled with the awarding of trophies and certificates which were given directly by the Dean of Faculty of Education Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Gading, M.Psi., along with the Vice Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd.
The top position was achieved by Kadek Dwi Premana Karisma Angel Danuarta from Brawijaya University, then followed by I Gusti Komang Agus Angga Putra Widiarta and Ni Luh Puspa Pratiwi from Ganesha University of Education as the 2nd and 3rd place winners, while the first consolation prize winner was achieved by Pratama Belva Chandra from Semarang State University while the second one was achieved by Made Allan Theja Kurniawan from Ganesha University of Education.
In his remarks, the Dean of Faculty of Education, Prof. Gading really appreciated the excellent activity by the Departmental Student Association of Elementary Education. He hopes that in the future this activity can continue to be developed both in terms of quality and quantity.
“Such an extraordinary competition, being able to reach 498 participants is a great achievement. I hope this can continue to be done so that in the future more participants will take part in this competition, even if it is possible UGM, ITB, UI and other big campuses can participate,” said Gading.
The Vice Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., welcomed the achievements that Angga and Puspa had made. Furthermore, he encouraged the Departmental Student Association of Elementary Education to continue to optimize the Echo of Essay Contest so that in the future it would be able to engage participants from various major universities in Indonesia.
“The achievements of Angga and Puspa are extraordinary in terms of quantity. In the future, I hope the scope of this competition can be even wider so that the competition will be better and we can learn a lot from big campuses,” he said. (PR Dewa Nida)
