Singaraja – Located in the Seminar Room, FIP B Building, Undiksha (21/08/2023), an introduction to the Department of Educational Psychology & Guidance was carried out by HMJ IPPB FIP Undiksha. This activity was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Widiana, S.Pd., M.Pd. This Department Introduction activity carries the theme “Building the IPPB Generation as a Critical, Innovative, and Characteristic Front Guard Based on Tri Hita Karana”.
The introduction to campus life is a crucial period for new students. This period is a transitional stage for them to learn more about the institution, work climate, and good practices that can be used as references later when lectures begin. In his speech, the Dean of FIP Undiksha, Prof. I Wayan Widiana, conveyed three important points for new students, namely 1) get to know your major, both academic and non-academic. 2) don’t miss any information. 3) focus on carrying out studies. These three things are very important for students to be able to complete their studies on time, even faster than the specified time.
In his interview, the chairman of the committee, who is familiarly called Leony, said “The aim of introducing this department is to introduce them to campus life, especially in terms of lectures, lecturers, and student activities.” This department introduction activity lasted for one day, attended by 84 new students majoring in IPPB and attended by the dean’s ranks and lecturers in the IPPB department.
During the activity, new students majoring in IPPB orderly and solemnly participated in every sequence of events that took place. (hms fendy)
