Singaraja– Faculty of Education (FIP) Undiksha is increasingly showing its existence as a Trendsetter Faculty. It is not an exaggeration to attribute this to the first faculty at an A-accredited state university. The reason is, FIP Undiksha has once again become the goal of collaboration with partner universities. This time it came from the Guidance and Counseling Study Program at PGRI Banyuwangi University (UNIBA) on Friday (17/02/2023). The activity which took place in the Seminar Room was attended by 87 Field Work Practice (PKL) students accompanied by the Deputy Chancellor 2 of UNIBA, Head of the Guidance and Guidance Study Program, and supervisor. His arrival was warmly welcomed by the Head of the Department of Education, Psychology and Guidance (IPPB) FIP Undiksha, Prof. Dr. Kadek Suranata, M.Pd., Kons., and lecturer at FIP ??Undiksha.
Apart from implementing cooperation in terms of Independent Learning Campus Independence (MBKM), the visit was also followed by sharing sessions related to professions, as well as the application of the Multi-Cultural concept in Guidance and Counseling, from BK FIP Undiksha expert staff, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Dharsana, M.Pd.
After the activity, the Head of the IPPB Department, Kadek Suranata, said that this event was a follow-up to the long-standing collaboration between the two parties. He added that this activity really supports the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) for study programs and faculties. Furthermore, he hopes that this collaboration will not stop here, but will continue to be developed in other areas of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education (PT).
“This activity is very closely related to IKU, one of which is the exchange of experts, and also student exchanges. “I hope that in the future there will be more collaboration in other fields,” he said.
Speaking to Public Relations, the Chair of the BK UNIBA Study Program, Harwanti Noviandari, M.Psi., said that the very close relationship between BK FIP Undiksha and BK UNIBA was the basis for choosing Undiksha as a collaboration destination. He hopes that this activity can increase literacy which can later be applied in the world of lectures.
“The hope is that it can increase knowledge and develop the potential of students. “Apart from that, after this activity, we have high hopes that new activities can emerge as a follow-up to today,” he hoped. (hms Dewa Nida)
