Singaraja– FIP Undiksha Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) received another partner visit. This time from the PGSD FKIP Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) which took place at the Undiksha Auditorium Building, on Friday (06/01/2023) morning. The visit was in the context of a Study Excursion at the PGSD FIP Undiksha Study Program. The arrival of the UMM group of 182 students and 8 lecturers was warmly welcomed by the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Widiana, M.Pd., accompanied by the Head of the Basic Education Department (Pendas) Drs. I Made Suarjana, M.Pd., and PGSD Study Program Coordinator, Dr. I Gede Margunayasa, S.Pd., M.Pd.
After the activity, the Coordinator of the PGSD FIP Undiksha Study Program, Margunayasa, said that this activity was a follow-up to the collaboration that had existed between FIP Undiksha and FKIP UMM. It was further stated that this activity really supports the achievement of the Faculty’s Main Performance Indicators (IKU).
“The point is that they study here, after this activity we will continue with student exchange activities, including the activities of our lecturers teaching at UMM and vice versa, yes we will hold it online next semester,” he said.
The same thing was also expressed by the Secretary of the PGSD FKIP UMM Study Program, Tyas Deviana, M.Pd. He said, apart from being a form of fulfilling the IKU, this activity was also followed by benchmarking related to the International Accreditation of Undiksha FIP PGSD Study Program which will take place in February. Furthermore, he hopes that in the future this collaboration can be continued and accompanied by real action.
“In the future, we really want to carry out further collaboration for both lecturers and students. More than that, we also want to carry out benchmarking regarding applications for international accreditation. “I hope this can continue, especially to fulfill MBKM,” said Tyas. (hms Dewa Nida)
