Singaraja– Undiksha Faculty of Education (FIP) students I Gusti Komang Agus Angga Putra Widiarta and Ni Luh Puspa Pratiwi from the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) again made achievements on the regional stage. Innovation in integrated learning media with an Ethnomathematics approach for elementary school students mentored by Drs. I Made Suarjana, M.Pd., won 2nd place in the 2022 Udayana Knights Education and Sharing Movement scientific writing event organized by the Udayana University Student Executive Board, on Saturday (15/10/2022).
Confirming this, Puspa, his nickname, explained that the lack of relevant learning media in the implementation of inclusive education was the main factor in creating this learning media. It was explained that the learning media was implemented into Balinese culture, especially Upakara in Bali. The success of FIP Undiksha’s outstanding students cannot be separated from the results of special training carried out regularly.
“Very proud, the long efforts we have made have finally borne sweet fruit. What’s more, we can make the faculty proud,” she said.
Furthermore, the student born in 2002 said that this achievement would be used as a stepping stone to take part in similar competitions at the national and even international level. He hopes that he can donate medals again to FIP Undiksha. He did not forget to invite FIP students to always innovate and develop their potential to realize a superior FIP Undiksha.
“For FIP students, let’s improve our quality by taking part in various competitions. “Learn to get out of your comfort zone, start reading opportunities, and dare to take on challenges,” she added.
