Singaraja –The Student Association of the Department of Educational Psychology and Guidance (HMJ IPPB) Faculty of Education (FIP) Undiksha, held a Syncounlogy event which took place in the Seminar Room FIP B Undiksha, Sunday (05/11/2023) with the theme “Empowering the Young Generation to Maximize the Pillars SDGs in Realizing the Demographic Bonus”. This flagship activity from HMJ IPPB was opened directly by the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. I Komang Sudarma, S.Pd., M.Pd., accompanied by the Secretary of the IPPB Department, Dr. Luh Putu Lestari, S.Pd., M.Pd.
This Syncounlogy was designed based on the demographic bonus with the aim that the younger generation can become the baton of leadership so that breakthroughs are needed in the field of SDGs. This activity consists of several competitions, including a logo competition, innovation competition, infographic competition, and essay competition.
Speaking to Public Relations, Committee Chair Nikita Kezia Febsdela (TP) explained that this activity is one of the superior programs that supports innovation and this year HMJ IPPB succeeded in creating change with several breakthroughs. “This year we have a slightly different concept compared to previous years, namely by holding competitions that require participants to produce the latest innovations and expand coverage in the fields of education, mental health, and innovation in the form of technology,” emphasized the student from Bekasi.
In his speech, Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance I Komang Sudarma appreciated the brilliant idea of the SDGs program which can train critical thinking and sensitivity towards education and mental health by utilizing technology.
“This idea is extraordinary because in the next 15 years, there will be a need for students who have digital skills, so it is very appropriate to hold this syncounlogy activity,” he said.
