Singaraja – The use of technology and the production of innovation is growing very rapidly, giving rise to a gap between the world of education and the needs of Human Resources (HR) in the world of work and society. The challenges of 21st-century education are the role and strategy in bridging the gap between the educational process in higher education and the world of work and the need for innovation. One approach used to accommodate 21st-century education is the Independent Curriculum. Supporting this, the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD Prodi) held a Curriculum Workshop with the theme “Synergy of Independent Curriculum in Primary Schools Towards Superior PGSD in Asia 2045”, to follow up on the curriculum which has been designed to suit work needs. (07/04/2022). The activity which was held at the Undiksha Denpasar Auditorium Building involved educational practitioners, in this case, school principals, teachers, and PGSD alumni, to synergize the PGSD curriculum and perfect and align the Merdeka Curriculum, towards a superior PGSD in Asia in 2045. Faculty Deans of Education Sciences also attended this activity. They hope that this activity can be carried out sustainably and become a routine agenda in the PGSD Study Program so that in the future it can improve the synergy and quality of the curriculum in the PGSD Study Program.
