Singaraja – The Faculty of Education has collaborated with the Buleleng Regency Government, regarding the fieldwork practices of prospective Learning Technology Developers in Buleleng Regency to create superior and competitive human resources. On this occasion, the Regional Secretary of Buleleng Regency, Drs. Gede Suyasa, M.Pd., Head of the Buleleng Regency Youth and Sports Education Service, Made Astika, S.Pd, M.M., and Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. I Gede Rasben Dantes, S.TI, M.TI., was warmly welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Gading, M.Psi., along with staff, in the FIP Undiksha Seminar Room.
This Memorandum of Understanding was signed directly by the Dean of FIP Undiksha, I Ketut Gading together with Kadisdikpora, Made Astika accompanied by the Regional Secretary of Buleleng Regency, Gede Suyasa and the leadership of FIP Undiksha, on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Dean I Ketut Gading considered the role of Learning Technologists to be very important for supporting the teaching and learning process in educational units, especially in designing digital learning. He emphasized that this collaboration was held to fulfill the Main Performance Indicators of Higher Education, one of which is increasing the absorption of graduates in the world of work.
In line with this, the Head of the Buleleng Regency Education and Youth Department, Made Astika, said that to improve the quality of learning, it is deemed necessary to have a role for Educational Technology graduates. Furthermore, the Regional Secretary of Buleleng Regency, Gede Suyasa, emphasized that judging from the substance and patterns of learning in educational units which are leading to the era of digitalization, the role of Learning Technologists is very much needed to assist teachers in creating interesting learning media.
