Currently, five FIP journals have succeeded in achieving Sita 3, these journals include the Primary School Science Journal (JISD), JurnalOf Eduction Technology (JET), Pulpit Science, Pulpit PGSD, and Journal of Pedagogy and Learning. This success cannot be separated from the strategy carried out by journal managers from July to August 2020.
The strategy used is to follow the quarantine to increase the status of journals at Sinta, which is held by the university journal management regularly online. All journal managers who submit journals to Arjuna receive material regarding tips for improving journal status. In addition, the submitted journals are assessed by internal assessors.
“The input from internal assessors is one of the guidelines for improving the quality of journals and systems,” said Journal Chair Prof. Dr. Anak Agung Gede Agung, M.Pd.
Prof. Agung added, that to obtain sinta 3, what was done was to improve the journal according to the input provided by the internal assessor and guided by the assessments in the Arjuna system.
“We hope that in the future we can maintain and improve the status of the FIP journal at Sinta and that it will be indexed by DOAJ and Scopus,” he added.
