Singaraja –As the Ganesha University of Education reaches XXXI, the Faculty of Education (FIP) Undiksha joins in celebrating it by holding the FIP Level Belmawa Competition. This competition is a forum for FIP Undiksha students to explore creative and innovative ideas and make real contributions to their surroundings.
This activity was successful in increasing students’ enthusiasm for creating, as evidenced by the number of participants and proposals reaching hundreds. There are a series of activities, starting from the Opening, Student Creativity Proposal Competition (PKM), Student Entrepreneurship Development Program Competition (P2MW), Debate Competition, Student Digital Innovation Competition (LIDM), Village Community Empowerment Program Competition (P2MD), Capacity Strengthening Program Ormawa PPK Organization, and Closing. Participants in this competition are active students in semesters 1, 3, and 5 from the Faculty of Education and from other faculties in Undiksha. This activity lasted for 5 days (04/01/2024 – 08/01/2024) carried out semi-online in the FIP B Undiksha Lecture Building, SDP FIP Undiksha, and Platform Zoom Meeting.
Officially opened by the Dean of FIP Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Widiana, S.Pd., M.Pd., who was accompanied by the Deputy Dean at FIP ??Undiksha, Chair of the Simkatmawa Cluster, and Teaching Lecturers at FIP ??Undiksha. In his speech, Prof. Widiana conveyed another aim of this activity for the Faculty of Education. “This activity will also be a preparation for the Faculty of Education to face competitions at the Belmawa and Puspresnas levels in 2024.”
In the same place, Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., in his interview said that this activity would continue to build a culture of achievement from FIP Undiksha. “This is the first competition that we initiated at FIP ??to celebrate the XXXI Anniversary. So, this competition will not just stop here, and we will take it to the national level.”
Chairman of the Committee, I Wayan Riski Ananda Putra (PGSD/5), in his report, stated that the enthusiasm of FIP students was so great, that the number of participants in each competition almost reached the target. “The number of competition participants in this activity, namely the PKM Competition is 300 teams, P2MW is 32 teams, Debate is 20 teams, LIDM is 7 teams, P2MD is 4 teams, and PPK Ormawa is 4 teams,” he said.
