Singaraja– Has several international programs such as internships abroad, the Undiksha Faculty of Education holds a Sharing Session related to Opportunities and Challenges of Study and Internship in Australia which is supported by the International Ecosystem (ITEM).
Sharing Session This presents experienced speakers, namely teaching Staff at Point Cook College, Australia, I Gede Marsaja, M.Ed., Ph.D., who discussed tips and tricks that can be applied by all students who attend to take part in internships and carry out studies in Australia. Not only that, this extraordinary resource person also provided a brief overview of the cost of living while in Australia, he even provided information about which Australia is currently opening up. The activity which was held on Tuesday (23/01/2024) took place in the FIP Undiksha Seminar Room and was opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Widiana, S.Pd., M.Pd., who was accompanied by the Deputy Dean of FIP Undiksha. Also attending this activity were FIP Undiksha International Class Initiation (IKI) students, Pre-service PPG Students, as well as Lecturers and Staff in the FIP Undiksha Environment. In his speech, Prof. Widiana said that the Faculty of Education had sent 4 students to Australia and 11 students to the Philippines, and would send another 10 students to Malaysia in February-March.
“After carrying out internships abroad, we will direct students to carry out internships at partner schools in Bali to carry out dissemination. “In March, the Faculty of Education will again open up opportunities for 4-5 students to go to Australia to carry out internships there,” said Prof. Widiana.
In an interview conducted, Australian internship alumni student, I Gusti Komang Agus Angga Putra Widiarta said that the presentation of the material given by the resource person was very relevant to living internship life in Australia. This exposure is certainly very helpful for students who will go to Australia to prepare themselves for their next departure.
