Singaraja – The Faculty of Education, Ganesha Education University (FIP-Undiksha) through the Student Executive Board held the XIXth National Level Election of Virtuous Youth (PRB). On Saturday, October 28 2023 at 13.00 WITA, which coincides with Youth Pledge Day, the Grand Final of the 2023 National Level Selection of Virtuous Youth was officially opened. This event was attended and opened directly by the Special Staff Coordinator of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Anak Agung Gde Ngurah Adi Dwipayana, accompanied directly by the Deputy Chancellor II of the Ganesha Education University, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Artanayasa, S.Pd., M.Pd., Head of Academic & Student Affairs Bureau Drs. I Made Yasa, M.Pd., Dean of FIP Undiksha Prof. Dr. I Wayan Widiana, S.Pd., M.Pd., Deputy Dean III at the Ganesha Education University, as well as lecturers and staff at the Faculty of Education, Ganesha Education University.
Special Staff Coordinator for the President of the Republic of Indonesia Anak Agung Gde Ngurah Adi Dwipayana appreciates the activities organized by BEM, Faculty of Education, Ganesha Education University consistently every year. “Generally the activities held are activities that can train academic competence, but this activity, which has been running for 19 years, is aimed at strengthening the character of both students and students,” he said.
Academic intelligence needs to be balanced with non-academic intelligence, a teenager’s life is not just about being smart but having high character. “The hope for all participants who have taken part in this prestigious national level competition, especially for the winners, is that they can become examples in the surrounding community and can prove that teenagers are not only smart but have high character,” said the Deputy Dean for Student & Alumni Affairs, FIP Undiksha, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd.
Ketut Candrayani, 5th Semester PGSD student as chairman of the 2023 National Level Bali for the categories of SMA/SMK/MA students throughout Indonesia and the Undiksha Chancellor’s Permanent Cup for all categories. The XIX National Level PRB was attended by 94 SMA/SMK/MA students throughout Indonesia & 39 students throughout Indonesia. “With the implementation of the XIXth PRB activity, I hope to create students with good character, achieve both academically and non-academicly, and become good and worthy examples in front of other pupils and students,” said the chairman of the committee. The results of the announcement of the winners were announced at the end of the event, and 1st Place in the Student Category went to Ni Luh Putu Divya Jyoti Mahardika, a student of the Basic Education Department, Primary School Teacher Education study program, Ganesha Education University and 1st Place in the Student Category went to Diah Shyamamohita Tri Cahyani, student of SMA Negeri 1 Amlapura.
