Singaraja – Elementary Education Department Student Association (HMJ Pendas), Undiksha Faculty of Education (FIP), successfully held a prestigious event, Elementary Education Competition and Scientific Fairs, abbreviated as EDUCTIONS on 23 October 2023. This event took place at the Ganesha University of Education Auditorium Building and via the Zoom Meeting platform.
Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs, Public Relations and Alumni Undiksha, Prof. Dr. Drs. I Ketut Sudiana, M.Kes, together with the Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Prof. Dr. Putu Aditya Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., and related stakeholders were also present at the opening of the event. Also present were accompanying lecturers, teachers, and students from various related study programs.
This event raised the big theme “Creating the Foundation for Superior Education: Forming a Generation Full of Potential as a Pillar of Success in the Era of Revolution 5.0”, reflecting the spirit of HMJ Pendas in forming a generation that can optimize its potential, adapt to change, and become a pillar of success in the era of Revolution 5.0.
The series of EDUCTIONS activities is the National Education Seminar with the participation of 545 offline participants and 429 online participants. Apart from that, there is a National Level Microteaching Competition with 42 teams/persons, a National Level Gema Essay Competition with 389 participants, and a Five Subject Competition for Elementary School Levels in Bali with 105 teams.
Prof. Dr. Drs. I Ketut Sudiana, M.Kes, in an interview with Public Relations of FIP Undiksha, expressed his high appreciation for this event. According to him, EDUCTIONS activities are per the university’s big vision in realizing Undiksha as an International Quality Higher Education in the Field of Education and Leadership.
A similar opinion was also expressed by the Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Prof. Dr. Putu Aditya Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., who assessed this event as a breakthrough from HMJ Pendas. He emphasized the importance of continuing similar activities to continue to motivate students to achieve achievements, in line with the university’s main performance indicators. (HMS FIP)
