Singaraja– Faculty of Education (FIP) Undiksha will soon welcome the AQAS International Accreditation Visitation for the Educational Technology Study Program (TP) and Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD). For this reason, FIP Undiksha, through the Cluster 4 Elementary and Technology Education Team, held a simulation by bringing in a shadow assessor, Dr. rer. nat Nandi, S.Pd., M.T., M.Sc., which took place in the Study Program Meeting Room, Wednesday (18/01/2023). His arrival was warmly welcomed by the Dean of FIP Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Gading, M.Psi., together with the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. I Made Tegeh, S.Pd., M.Pd., Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Widiana, M.Pd., Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., Head of Department, along with Study Program Coordinator within FIP Undiksha.
After the simulation, Dr. Nandi said that the preparations that had been carried out by Cluster 4 were considered extraordinary. However, there are several aspects that must be improved, especially in terms of lecturer contributions.
“They have really prepared the infrastructure, labs, and so on well. I think everything has been well socialized. “Indeed, the most important thing is that all lecturers really understand their study program, because the most important assessment is in the curriculum,” he said.
In another place, the Dean of FIP Undiksha, Prof. I Ketut Gading said that this simulation provided many insights for the FIP Undiksha academic community to be able to maximize everything before accreditation. The number one person in the Faculty of Education is optimistic about being able to achieve accreditation with Unconditional status. The official from Timbul Village, Gianyar invited the entire academic community to work together in order to provide optimal, fast, and accurate service.
“I think this is very good because the SER we sent was without revision. “Hopefully this is an indication that what we are preparing can meet expectations,” hoped Gading. (hms Dewa Nida)
