To support the Ministry of Education and Culture’s program and independent learning curriculum, the Undiksha Faculty of Education (FIP) Counseling Guidance study program carries out student exchanges and lecturer exchanges in public lecture activities in the Career Guidance and Guidance Practicum courses and writing scientific papers which were held on Thursday (10/12/20) via virtual zoom meeting. This lecture was held 5 times.
This lecture collaborates with lecturers from outside campus both domestically and abroad. Dr. Kadek Suranata, as head of the Department of Educational Psychology and Guidance, as well as coordinator of the Guidance and Counseling study program IPPB FIP Undiksha, stated: “The aim of holding this public lecture is to support independent learning on an independent campus”. This lecture presents Prof. Siti Hassan, who is a professor from the University of Putra Malaysia (UPM) and has conducted lectures for three meetings on the subject of writing scientific papers (scientific writing). In the BK career practicum course, the BK IPPB FIP Undiksha study program also presented practitioner lecturer Mr. Hilary Wayne Findley as CEO and President of Hillary Associates regarding career prospects for pupils and students. This lecture took place over two meetings in September and November.
Apart from that, efforts have been made to support independent campus learning, namely lecturer and student exchanges with Surabaya State University. Students from the Undiksha Counseling Guidance Study Program lectured with lecturers from Surabaya State University for 2 meetings on the career counseling course. Undiksha Counseling Guidance study program lecturers also give lectures at Surabaya State University for Basic Counseling Skills courses. Sharing lectures have also been programmed to be held with the counseling in the education department at Kebangsaan Malaysia University, at the end of December 2020 and continuing in January 2021.
Next, Dr. Kadek Suranata, M.Pd., Kons said that in the next semester, the BK Study Program and all study programs within the IPPB FIP Undiksha environment will increase the quantity and quality of collaboration with higher education institutions, as well as agencies outside higher education, both at home and abroad in the program sharing lecturers, joint research, joint publications and other programs that support MBKM policies.
