Singaraja– Business and Entrepreneurship Cluster, Faculty of Education, held the Launching Entrepreneurship Exhibition on Tuesday (28/06/2022) morning. The exhibition was officially launched by the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Alumni and Public Relations Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd., accompanied by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. I Made Tegeh, S.Pd., M.Pd., Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., department head within FIP Undiksha, as well as Chair of the Business and Entrepreneurship Cluster, Ni Made Daini Vitri Sinta Sari, S.Pd., M.Pd.
Various types of products are presented at the event, ranging from crafts, food, and beverage products to the service sector, which are packaged nicely so that they can attract visitors. In his remarks, the Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs, Alumni and Public Relations, Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd., really appreciated this event, he considered this exhibition as a forum for students to continue to innovate in developing products so that later students from the Faculty of Education could compete in the market.
It was also said that student success in entrepreneurship can increase the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) for faculties in particular and universities in general, therefore the party is ready to support the implementation of entrepreneurship programs, both in coaching and funding.
“Students need to develop an entrepreneurial spirit, then they must be able to read opportunities so that students can innovate to develop their products. This activity also really supports the achievement of IKU, of course, we support this, so for students who want to become startups, “We from student affairs are ready to support it, especially regarding funding,” he explained. Confirmed after the activity, the Chair of the Business and Entrepreneurship Cluster, Ni Made Daini Vitri Sinta Sari, S.Pd., M.Pd., said that in the future similar exhibitions will be held regularly every semester, thereby increasing student involvement in entrepreneurship.
