The Pendas Student Association held an entrepreneurship seminar with the theme “Success in Becoming a Young Entrepreneur during the Pandemic” on Saturday (14/11/2020). This seminar activity was carried out semi-online. Offline activities still apply health protocols which are held in the Undiksha FIP B Seminar Room.
This theme was raised because we saw the economic situation in Bali which is currently declining drastically, “this activity aims to carry out the HMJ Pendas Field I program and invite and encourage millennials to start small businesses,” said the committee chairman, Windy Widadari. The university has also provided a special shopping website for online buying and selling transactions.
Participants in this activity were all 7th-semester students of the PGSD study program and all 3rd-semester students of the PGPAUD study program. The resource person presented was Gusti Ngurah Anom, owner of Krishna Oleh-Oleh Bali. This seminar discusses tips for success in becoming a young entrepreneur, and shares initial experiences of starting a business so that it becomes successful. “Every business requires initial capital, but not only that, it requires reckless capital and effort to change one’s fate, the main capital is a mentor and the second is self-confidence,” said the resource person, Gusti Ngurah Anom
“The hope is that after participating in this activity, participants can develop an entrepreneurial spirit, even though we in the Basic Education department will later become teachers, but that will not prevent us from developing careers in the entrepreneurial field,” said Windy.
