Singaraja– Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) again held an offline Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) in 2022, after the Covid-19 pandemic subsided, on Monday (15/08/22), centered at the Undiksha Central Campus Ceremony Field. The activity was officially opened by the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., and was attended directly by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. I Made Tegeh, S.Pd., M.Pd., Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., along with Department Heads and Study Program Coordinators within FIP Undiksha.
Based on the information gathered, the PKKMB which will take place from 15 – 22 August 2022, will be attended by approximately 3500 new students, of which 859 people come from the Faculty of Education, with details of 731 from the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD), 58 from the Study Program Guidance and Counseling (BK), 37 from the Early Childhood Teacher Education Study Program (PGPAUD), and 33 from the Education Technology Study Program (TP), said the chairman of the organizing committee, Ketut Yudi Darma Saputra.
Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. I Made Tegeh, S.Pd., M.Pd., warmly welcomed the arrival of new students at the Undiksha Faculty of Education. He, representing the Dean, invited all new students to work together to build the Faculty of Education, with discipline, hard work, intelligence, and collaborative work, to realize FIP Undiksha as a faculty trendsetter on the national stage.
“Welcome new students to FIP Undiksha, I hope your studies can run smoothly, make the best use of lectures, and gain as much knowledge as possible. “In the future, in its implementation, it will probably be interspersed with online learning, so that blended learning will occur,” he said.
President of the Undiksha Student Republic (Rema), Febry Sugiantara, said that this year’s PKKMB will not implement hazing, he believes that a character can be formed in various ways, but not through hazing. His party also hopes that this year’s PKKMB will be able to create harmony as a form of philosophy implementation.
