The Faculty of Education held a drafting workshop masterplan FIP Undiksha laboratory which was held on Monday (23/11/2020). This activity was held offline in the FIP B Undikha Room.
This activity aims to compile a masterplan FIP laboratory which will be used as a guide for laboratory development in the following year. This activity discusses laboratory management, which so far has been in the hands of the coordinators in each study program. In 2019 the laboratory is in the hands of the faculty and managed by the laboratory head, so this activity is to equalize the perception that all laboratory management is under one command, namely the FIP Undiksha laboratory head.
When the laboratory is under FIP control, this laboratory can be used directly together. “If in the past each study program had a laboratory, and did not exchange or even borrow laboratories very rarely, then in the future, the laboratory will not only belong to each study program but will be owned by all study programs,” said laboratory head Mutiara Magta, S.Pd., M . Pd.
This activity also discusses the laboratory development budget. Previously there was no special budget for this laboratory, but in 2021 special funds will be budgeted for laboratory development. Apart from that, this activity also discusses the importance of posts for laboratory use, so that the regulations for using the laboratory become clear. “There is a need for a laboratory management team because the laboratory can’t be managed alone by the head of the laboratory, it is necessary to have one team “which can be taken from study programs that help laboratory heads to develop laboratories,” said Dean of FIP Undiksha Dr. I Ketut Gading, M.Psi
“We hope that after this activity it will certainly produce results masterplan “FIP laboratories and FIP laboratories can be an example for faculties and universities, considering that FIP ??is a superior faculty with A accreditation, of course we have to provide proof that FIP ??has a quality laboratory,” added the head of the laboratory.
