The Faculty of Education held a discussion activity on the Undiksha FIP Journal and Publication Masterplan which was held on Tuesday (22/12/2020) in the Meeting Room of the Undiksha Faculty of Education.
This activity was attended by the leadership and the journal and publication master plan preparation team, Chair of the FIP Undiksha Laboratory, Deputy Dean I II III, Head of IPPB and Coordinator of BK Study Programs, Head of Pendas, Secretary of Pendas, Secretary of IPPB, and Coordinator of TP Study Program. Dr. I Wayan Widiana, S.Pd., M.Pd as Deputy Dean II stated: “The aim of preparing this master plan is to develop targets and strategic steps for developing journals and publications at FIP ??Undiksha so that there will be an accelerated increase in journal accreditation status and an acceleration in the quantity of FIP publications Undiskha,”. In this FGD, we discussed the condition of FIP journals and FIP lecturer publications, as well as strategies for increasing journal accreditation and the number of FIP lecturer publications. Apart from that, this discussion also discusses the obstacles faced by lecturers in publishing articles and the obstacles faced by journal managers in managing journals in terms of article quality and management.
“In the future, of course, the number of publications by FIP lecturers is expected to increase, especially in the international scope. “For journals, it is hoped that all FIP Undiksha journals can be indexed by Scopus,” said Head of the Drafting Team, Made Vina Arie Paramita, S.Pd., M.Pd.
