Singaraja – Faculty of Education (FIP) Undiksha continues to strive to improve the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Faculty Clusterization. One of the efforts made is through the Lectures Teaching at School program. The program which was initiated by FIP Undiksha is wrapped up in the Implementation of Entrepreneurship/Soft Skills Education in Elementary Schools, with the aim of improving the quality of lecturers as practitioners in the Faculty of Education. In addition, the involvement of lecturers teaching in elementary schools can foster an entrepreneurial spirit in students. This activity was carried out in 10 elementary schools spread across Kab. Buleleng, including: SD N 1 Kalibukbuk, SD N 2 Kalibukbuk, SD N 3 Kalibukbuk, SD N 4 Kalibukbuk, SD N 2 Tukadmungga, SD N 4 Panji, SD N 1 Poh Bergong, SD N 1 Baktiseraga, SD N 4 Bebetin, and SD N 3 Banyuning, involving 20 lecturers of FIP Undiksha.
This event was welcomed by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. I Made Tegeh, S.Pd., M.Pd. who conducted monitoring at SD N 1 Baktiseraga. He saw this movement as a forum for lecturers to be able to implement their skills in the field of entrepreneurship.
“This is a very good program for lecturers to gain experience, apply their knowledge in elementary schools, so that it can be disseminated and shared to students,” he said.
He also said that this also refers to the achievement of IKU and the upcoming Faculty Clusterization. He hopes that in terms of quantity, more and more lecturers will take part outside the campus, and be able to improve the quality of Human Resources in the Faculty of Education.
“Yes, this is about the number of lecturers who are active outside the campus, including in KPI and supporting our clusterization,” continued Tegeh.
This Vice Dean who comes from Panji Village, Buleleng said that the leaders always support ideas that can later improve the quality of the Faculty of Education
“We always provide motivation and prepare human resources to carry out monitoring. In the future, it may need to be budgeted, so that this program can run smoothly, “he concluded.
To Public Relations, Lecturer Practitioner, Kadek Yudiana, S.Pd., M.Pd., explained a series of entrepreneurial activities carried out at SD N 1 Baktiseraga, starting from assessment, implementation, to a product marketing bazaar that had been made.
“There are 8 groups from various classes involved. They are very enthusiastic, yes, participating in this activity, seen from the trial stage, but their product is good and worthy of being marketed, “said Yudi.
Meanwhile, the Principal of SD N 1 Baktiseraga, Putu Ada, M.Pd., appreciated the program initiated by the Faculty of Education. According to him, this is in line with the Pancasila Student Profile in terms of independence and skills. He also assessed that the students’ interest in participating in this entrepreneurial practice was very high.
“The entrepreneurship program from FIP Undiksha is extraordinary, so this is very connected with one of the Independent Curriculum. Our students are very enthusiastic, starting from preparing the tools and materials, to the process of making the product,” he said. (PR Dewa Nida)
