The Educational Technology Study Program, FIP, Undiksha held PKM (Community Service) for elementary school teachers in Cluster 3, Buleleng District. Dewa Gede Agus Putra Prabawa, S.Pd., M.Pd. as team leader explained, “PKM was implemented based on the results of observations in the field that the implementation of assessments, especially in the form of electronic-based interactive quizzes, among elementary school students was still limited. The tests that are often used are only printed tests and of course, printed tests have many limitations in the current pandemic era. In the current era, the role of electronic tests is very important, so this training is very suitable to be implemented to facilitate students in distance learning, especially in terms of learning assessment. The implementation of interactive quizzes has also been supported by the availability of facilities from the students’ parents. So that in the future the implementation of interactive quizzes will not experience many obstacles.”
The community service which was carried out on July 10 2020 took place at SD Negeri 1 Astina. The implementing team consists of Dewa Gede Agus Putra Prabawa, S.Pd., M.Pd, Drs. I Ketut Pudjawan, M.Pd and Dr. I Komang Sudarma, S.Pd, M.Pd. The implementation of this activity cannot be separated from the support of the Principal of SD Negeri 1 Astina, the PKM implementing team, and the 8th-semester students of the Educational Technology Study Program, Undiksha Faculty of Education.
The implementation begins with the presentation of material by the resource person who is also the head of the implementation team, then continues with the practice of making an interactive quiz. The participants were very enthusiastic about participating and what was even more interesting was that the participants asked for additional material considering that the knowledge they were trained in was very useful for distance learning. Teachers gave positive responses which were shown through their work in the form of interactive quizzes created through the application Kahoot. Prabawa hopes that “the interactive quizzes that have been produced by teachers can be implemented in the odd semester of this academic year.”
