“When we don’t have time
for our baby when he was little,
then wait for the fruit of our hearts
spend our time even though we are old”
Putu Aditya Antara
Apart from Undiksha Sharing, Undiksha’s Faculty of Education lecturers are very open to invitations to become resource persons in other media. As done by Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd, lecturer at the PG PAUD Study Program is willing to be a resource person at the webinar organized by STAHN Gde Pudja Mataram. On that occasion, Friday, (26/6) Aditya was paired with the Head of PG PAUD STAHN Gde Pudja Mataram Study Program, Dr. Ni Made Arini, S. Ag., M.Pd, presented material according to her field of study, namely “Digital Education For Children: Teacher and Parent Collaboration in Stimulating Early Childhood in the Pandemic and Preparation PeriodNew Normal Life”.
Aditya explained that there were 3 things he conveyed during the first webinar, regarding the interaction of teachers and parents in providing stimulus to children. The stimulus must be following the curriculum so that learning at school can be the same as learning at home. The 6 curriculum contents that must be taught to children are religion-moral, physical-motor, cognitive, language, social-emotional, and arts. The stimulus will also be carried out using online media between teachers and parents, “because children can’t hold their cellphones all the time, they cannot receive information and read, so teachers send information to parents via their cellphones,” said Aditya.
Second, regarding preparation for the new normal with the screening process, according to him, “what is meant by screening is that there is a Covid-19 free test that must be carried out by teachers, staff, and students, so that when they enter the school they are all negative.” Third, regarding the impact of using digital tools, especially gadgets. There are serious impacts resulting from the use of these gadgetsScreen Dependency Disorder or addiction to gadgets.
The lecturer who also serves as Deputy Dean IIII FIP said that the webinar participants were very enthusiastic about taking part in this webinar. It was even reported that 750 people had previously registered, but due to a technical error, only 100 people were able to take part in the webinar. He hopes that the information he conveys can become a reference for teachers and parents.
