Singaraja– Dozens of works of photographic art were exhibited at Singaraja City Park Wantilan after the COVID-19 pandemic subsided (26/06/2022) morning. This work is the result of photography studies from students of the Educational Technology Study Program (TP) entitled “Dwi Marta Graphic Arts”. At the exhibition with curator Dr. I Komang Sudarma, S.Pd., M.Pd., and Adrianus I Wayan Ilia Yuda Sukmana, S.Kom., M.Pd., who are academics from the Faculty of Education, displayed 33 works of photography in 5 categories including, Portrait Photography, Landscape Photography, Still Life Photography, Fine Art Photography, and Wedding Photography. These various works are the result of the creativity and feelings of students and their supervisors which are full of meaning.
These works are neatly displayed on the walls and tables with various decorations to add a beautiful feel and attract visitors. Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., really appreciated this activity, according to him, in the era of creative industries, the presence of this exhibition is very important to develop student creativity. He hopes that in the future the products produced will have sales value.
“As the leader, I would like to thank the organizing committee, finally this photography exhibition can be held again. This activity is very important for developing creativity because now is the era of the Creative Industry. Apart from being a college product, this photography can be used as a product with selling value. “I hope that photography is not just a theoretical concept, but rather an implementation one so that the product can be produced through entrepreneurship in the field of photography,” he said. Confirmed after the activity, the chairman of the organizing committee, I Ketut Merta Yudi Ariana, expressed his pride in being able to hold this activity offline after the COVID-19 pandemic. A visitor to the Made Anggi Ariawan photography exhibition also expressed the same thing, he considered the works presented to be very good and inspiring, and he also hoped that this activity could be held again next year.
