Singaraja – The Faculty of Education (FIP), Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) should be proud, because the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) through the Indonesian Talent Development Center (BPTI), supports and provides appreciation in the form of a Rolling Cup for the performance of the Selection of Youth with Characteristics (PRB) in 2022, for first place in the student category at Universities (PT) throughout Indonesia on Monday, (01/08/2022). Furthermore, it is hoped that this activity will run smoothly, without disturbing the teaching and learning process of students, and without burdening the university budget.
This appreciation was immediately welcomed with pride by the leadership of the Faculty of Education. How could it not be, the proposal to procure rotating trophies submitted to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology has had sweet results. Confirmed, the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Gading, M.Psi., said that this activity is very important in developing the character of the nation’s children by balancing intellectual and non-intellectual intelligence among SMA/SMK/MA students and university students throughout Indonesia.
The number one person in the Faculty of Education also said that through this prestigious national-level event, it is hoped that it can increase public interest in continuing their education at the Faculty of Education. “It is important to know that their learning achievements, extracurricular activities, and personality are a comprehensive assessment,” he said.
It was also said that this activity could increase the achievement of the faculty’s Main Performance Indicators (IKU) in producing graduates with character and competitiveness. “We want FIP ??Undiksha graduates to have good character, hopefully through this activity we can increase people’s desire to join the Undiksha Faculty of Education so that the children who enter this university will be the best children, that is our way to improve the quality of graduates in the world of work,” he concluded.
