Undiksha’s Faculty of Education (FIP) carried out an assessment of the Corruption Free Area Integrity Zone (ZI-WBK) and Clean Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) on Friday 12 May 2023. FIP is very well prepared for this assessment, which can be seen from the hard work and persistence of all employees who are led directly by the chairman of the ZI-WBK/WBBM FIP committee, namely Dr. I Gede Astawan, S.Pd., M.Pd. in preparing all the required files.
Ferdy Fristyansyah and I Gusti Ngurah Agung Kusuma Jaya, are the ZI-WBK review team at the Ganesha University of Education. His presence was warmly welcomed by Deputy Chancellor I of the Ganesha Education University, Prof. Dr. I Gede Rasben Dantes, Vice Chancellor III, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd., Dean of the Undiksha Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Gading, M.Psi., Deputy Dean in the FIP Environment, Head of Department, Head of the ZI-WBK/WBBM Team who is also Secretary of the Basic Education Department, and Coordinator of Study Programs in the FIP Undiksha Environment. This assessment was carried out in the Undiksha FIP Seminar Room, which in this room discussed Change Management, Management Arrangement Area, and Public Service Quality Improvement Area with a total of approximately 15 participants filled by Mr. I Gusti Ngurah Agung Kusuma Jaya and the Undiksha FIP Meeting Room which discussed the HR Management Structuring Area, Performance Accountability Strengthening Area and Supervision Strengthening Area with a total of approximately 15 participants, filled by Mr. Ferdy Fristyansyah.
After the activity, the assessment team, Ferdy Fristyansyah, said that there were 6 areas that could take action, namely Change Management, Management Arrangement Area, HR Management Arrangement Area, Performance Accountability Strengthening Area, Supervision Strengthening Area, Public Service Quality Improvement Area. He hoped that all parties could support FIP in ZI-WBK/WBBM.
“Hopefully FIP is really ready because it has received appreciation from the University, hopefully, everyone will support it from the Leadership, Rectorate, Dean, Deputy Dean, Coordinator of Study Programs, and even Students and Alumni because whatever is done without support cannot run well,” he said.
Speaking to Public Relations, the Dean of the Undiksha Faculty of Education said that in compiling and implementing the Development of a Corruption-Free Regional Integrity Zone, FIP has assembled a team that is in accordance with the established structure. He also said that the team asked for guidance from the ministry, from the rectorate, or the agency that had previously received the certificate.
“FIP colleagues are very enthusiastic, truly extraordinary with enthusiasm and hard work, hopefully, all good hopes can come true,” he said.
Deputy Chancellor 1 of Ganesha University of Education, Prof. Dr. I Gede Rasben Dantes would like to thank the Undiksha Faculty of Education for the hard work and commitment given to FIP. The leadership hopes that FIP ??can become a role model for other faculties and other work units.
“The integrity zone is not at the document level and not only at the conceptual level but how we change the mindset and of course, this starts from each individual and it will also have an impact in various organizations. From several areas of change, bureaucratic reform is expected to increase in the Faculty of Education and even at Ganesha University of Education in general, so there are several aspects as a reference for FIP and assessors to see whether FIP is suitable to be proposed as a unit or work unit called an integrity zone team. “This is also not a one-time process but an ongoing process,” he said.
