Singaraja – Faculty of Educational Science succeeded again in international event. This time, achievement came from Indonesian International IoT Olympiad (I3O) which was held by Muria Kudus University. According to the compiled information, the event was held from May 8th until 22nd, 2022 and participated by 200 teams from 14 countries, i.e. Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Mexico, United States, etc.
I Gede Agus Sudiantara from Elementary Education Department, together with his team which was consisted of i.e. I Ketut Adi Darma Yatra&Luh Hanny Arsana Putri fromMathematics Department, I Made Bhisma Putra Nugraha from Informatics Education Department , I Made Kerisna Laksana from Information Systems Department, guided by I Putu Pasek Suryawan S.Pd., M.Pd., succeeded in achieving gold medal for their innovative work in education category, i.e. “B-Fiks: Interactive Literacy Learning Media to Strengthen the Alpha Generation’s Education of Character during the Post Pandemic Era”.
This work was an innovative learning media in which the problem of low literacy rate in Indonesia emerged.The team thought about the solution which could be used to increase the literacy and could be integrated with online based learning. The gold medal was the first achievement that could be accomplished; it also would be a motivation to participate in another competition, especially in international event, that was conveyed by I Gede Agus Sudiantara when he was asked for information.
“About this achievement, honestly this is my first one to participate in an international event. My team and I hope that in the future, we can continue this achievement in another competition, so that we can bring the name of Faculty and University to the International level”, he said.
Being confirmed via short message, the Vice Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., also appreciated the achievement which was accomplished through hard work in order to make the faculty famous. “I highly appreciate the Elementary Education student who has been able to achieve gold medal, this has been endless achievement which was accomplished successfully by the Faculty of Educational Science. It will be very good for the Faculty of Educational Science Undiksha , in order to complete and prepare Simkatmawa competition, both at Undiksha or national level.
