The leadership of the Faculty of Education accompanied the Undiksha Chancellor to assist the guard officers at the Labuhan Lalang Sekat Post, Sumberkima Village, Grokgak District on Saturday (27/6). FIP representatives consisting of the Dean and Deputy Dean have participated in the entire series of activities from start to finish as a form of total support for the Undiksha and Dandim 1609 Buleleng programs, as well as handing over assistance to officers at the isolation post to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in Labuan Lalang, West Buleleng.
In this activity, Undiksha collaborated with Kodim 1609 Buleleng which was led directly by the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., and Dandim 1609 Buleleng, Lt. Col. Inf Muhammad Windra Lisrianto, SE., M.I.K. The assistance provided was in the form of masks, mineral water, hand sanitizer, and hazmat suits.
Dean of FIP Undiksha, Dr. I Ketut Gading, M.Psi said, “This activity is very useful to help ease the burden on the officers at the partition post who are on duty 24 hours to check the health of people who come from various regions to Buleleng Regency to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 in Buleleng Regency. Apart from that, this activity is useful for increasing cooperation between Undiksha and Kodim 1609 Buleleng.”
Interestingly, to get to the location, the Undiksha Chancellor and his entourage used a motorbike which was directly escorted by Dandim 1609 Buleleng. He also hopes that “a synergy will be established between institutions to prevent the spread of Covid-19 transmission, all parties will participate in preventing the spread of Covid-19 transmission and a vaccine will soon be found to increase human immunity from the Covid-19 attack and medicine to cure people.” who have been infected with Covid-19”.
