Singaraja– The Basic Education Department Student Association (HMJ) (Pendas) held an opening activity for the Children’s Achievement Competition (LAB) with the theme“Through competition activities, children with achievements are expected to be able to produce a superior generation in order to welcome the Industrial Revolution 4.0” Thursday (25/11/2021) yesterday. This prestigious national-level event which was held semi-online in the FIP Undiksha Seminar Room is a breakthrough work program that integrates the Five Subject Competition (LLMP) from HMJ PGSD with the Coloring Competition from HMJ PGPAUD. In this activity, the Quiz Competition (LCC) and coloring competition are a series of competitions that are part of this annual agenda.
“This activity was motivated by the idea that there needs to be a forum for developing potential, especially in the academic field at the Elementary School (SD) and PAUD levels, so the Achievement Children’s Competition was formed, in which there are two sub-competitions, namely the Smart Quiz Competition for the Elementary and “Coloring Competition for the PAUD category,” he explained.
The FIP Undiksha activist further explained that the aim of holding this activity was to hone and develop the academic potential of elementary and early childhood students.
“The aim is to hone and develop the academic potential of elementary and early childhood students so that later they can be useful for themselves, society, the nation, and the Indonesian state.” continued Yoga.
“The Quiz Competition has three rounds. The Preliminary Round will be held on November 25, then the Semi-Final and Final rounds will be held on November 30. “So to be more detailed, we will select 5 teams for the Semi-Final round, and 3 teams for the Final round.” said the Chair of the Committee, Ni Komang Sellayani.
This PGSD Study Program student hopes that holding this activity will be able to raise students’ learning motivation.
“I hope that this Children’s Achievement Competition can also raise the motivation of children at both elementary school and kindergarten levels. “With this competition, hopefully, we can produce a superior generation according to our theme today,” concluded Selly.hms/Dewa Nida
