The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Education, again held the National Level 2021 Online Selection of Virtuous Youth (PRB XVII) for the second time. Even in a pandemic situation, this activity must continue to be held, because PRB is a prestigious activity on the national stage which is the Flagship Work Program of BEM FIP Undiksha.
Chair of the PRB Committee, Ni Putu Putri Budiastini, said that the Emergency PPKM situation was an obstacle in planning this activity, however, she hopes that this year’s PRB activity can bring Finalists to the Grand Final.
“The ongoing Emergency PPKM situation has become an obstacle for us in preparing and designing this activity. We have also coordinated and obtained an agreement with related parties through an audience with the Governor represented by the Head of the High School Division and the Rectorate, with the hope that later we can bring the Finalists to the final stage. Grand Final “Of course by implementing Prokes,” he said.
Furthermore, the Chairman of the Student Executive Board (BEM) I Made Candra Wahyudi Putra said that the PRB activity system this year was still the same, namely being carried out semi-online, only the packaging for the implementation was different.
“This year’s PRB system is still the same, namely carried out semi-online, but this year the PRB opening was held at the Undiksha Auditorium andGrand Final “It will be implemented at the Art Center following the direction of the Governor yesterday’s hearing, but this will be adjusted if the PPKM is not extended,” he continued.
Even though it is carried out semi-online, the committee has designed it in such a way that the 18 Character criteria remain the main assessment in determining Young People with Characteristics. Committee Chair Ni Putu Putri Budiastini hopes that this activity will be able to open the views of teenagers in particular, to become individuals with noble character, individuals who are open to new things, and individuals who can accept views, criticism, and suggestions from other people.
