Singaraja– To welcome the prestigious XVIIIth Virtuous Youth Election (PRB) event in 2022, the Faculty of Education (FIP) through the Student Executive Board (BEM) FIP Undiksha held an audience with the Bali Province Youth and Sports Education Service (Disdikpora), on Wednesday (24 /08/2022) morning. On this occasion, the Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., accompanied by the Chair of BEM FIP Undiksha, Ni Putu Putri Budiastini and her entourage, were received directly by the Head of the Youth and Sports Education Service, IKN Boy Jayawibawa.
At the hearing, Deputy Dean Aditya conveyed several things, including that this annual performance was held again for the 18th time with two categories of pupils and students, which this year received rotating trophies from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek ) for the category of universities throughout Indonesia. The Deputy Dean from Medahan Village, Gianyar considers the Budi Character to be the nation’s cultural heritage, for this reason, he hopes that in the future this PRB event will continue to be developed.
“Our visit to Disdikpora was to convey matters related to the upcoming PRB implementation, the main thing is that we conveyed that we had been given a rotating trophy by the Minister of the Ministry of Education and Culture for the student category. I hope that this PRB will continue to be an icon Faculty of Education,” he said
Head of the Youth and Sports Education Service, IKN Boy Jayawibawa appreciated the superior work program of BEM FIP Undiksha. According to him, this PRB activity should be a barometer for the development of Characteristics in Indonesia. He assessed that these Characteristics have been stated in the Pancasila Student Profile launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture. “I am very proud, this activity must continue to be developed, so that in the future PRB can become a benchmark for the development of Characteristics. “I hope this activity can continue to inspire the younger generation,” he hoped.
In line with that, the Chair of BEM FIP Undiksha, Ni Putu Putri Budiastini hopes that this activity will be able to get appreciation from the people of Bali and even Indonesia, regarding the importance of Moral Character. “I hope that in the future this activity can run smoothly, and of course through this activity, the public will know the importance of Moral Character,” he concluded.
