Denpasar – The Faculty of Education (FIP) Undiksha continues to strive to achieve superior clustering, one of which is in the field of student affairs. Supporting this, through the Denpasar Teaching and Learning Process Implementation Unit (HMUPPBM) Student Association, a Student Creativity Event (AKM) and Art Appreciation Night (MAS) were held in 2022 whose opening took place at the Undiksha Denpasar Campus, Saturday (26/11/2022) morning .
After the activity, the Chairperson of the Kadek Gatha Gangga Kusuma Committee, from the PGSD Study Program, said that this annual event would compete 6 branches of sports and 3 branches of art in order to welcome Undiksha’s 30th Anniversary Week.
“We designed the AKM and MAS to prepare for the Anniversary, with various competitions including, Basketball, Badminton, Volleyball, E-Sport, Bridge, Futsal in sports. Then, in the Arts branch, there are Karaoke Contests, Islamic Boarding Schools, and Balinese Dance. Apart from that, there is also a gardening and community arrangement competition,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Head of HMUPPBM Denpasar, I Gede Reka Widiyantara from the PGSD Study Program said, this AKM activity received a positive response from students, this can be seen from the contribution of students in participating in various competitions.
“Students have great enthusiasm for this activity. This is evident from the large number of participants and supporters who took part in celebrating the opening this time, “said Reka.
This event received full appreciation from the Dean of FIP Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Gading, M.Psi. The number one person at FIP ??Undiksha hopes that this activity can make a big contribution to the Faculty of Education at the Anniversary event, and the ranking of the upcoming faculty clustering.
“I think what was shown earlier shows that fellow lecturers, staff, and younger students are serious about preparing for activities, and this is extraordinary. I hope that our targets in 2023 can be achieved,” he explained.
Furthermore, he stressed, the leadership continues to strive to improve student achievement. the steps taken are of course by conducting coaching, mentoring, and preparing funding.
