Singaraja – The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Education (BEM FIP) has successfully held a National Workshop on Secretarial Administration and Financial Management for Student Organizations (04/04/2023). This activity was held in the Uniksha FIP Seminar Room as a work program for Field I (Reasoning and Science) to increase knowledge, and understanding and equalize perceptions in the secretarial administration and finances of student organizations.
The number of participants in the 2023 National Workshop on Secretarial Administration and Financial Management for Student Organizations consisted of student organization functionaries within FIP Undiksha, student delegates in each class, general participants who registered and were attended by 7 universities in Indonesia with a total of 247 participants.
Speaking to Public Relations, Committee Chair Ni Kadek Wini Suriantari explained that this activity was held for two days. On the first day, an official opening was held and continued with material presentations by resource persons. In session 1, the material presented was administrative governance with resource person I Gede Wahyu Suwela Antara, S.Pd from Ganesha Education University. In session 2, the material presented was financial governance with resource person Dr. Moh. Zayyadi, M.Pd from Madura University. On the second day, an assignment exercise was carried out which was given by the resource person to the workshop participants (especially participants from FIP organizations).
This event was opened by the Head of the Basic Education Department, Drs. I Made Suarjana, M.Pd., who hopes that this activity can improve students’ abilities in the secretarial and financial administration of student organizations, such as making letters and accountability reports.
“Hopefully what is gained from this workshop can be implemented in student activities so that correspondence and making accountability reports can be in accordance with applicable regulations,” she stressed. It is hoped that this activity will improve the quality of administrative and financial governance in student organizations so that they can run well and in accordance with applicable regulations.
