Singaraja – Undiksha Faculty of Education (FIP) continues to strive to become a superior and competitive tertiary institution in order to welcome Legal Entity State Universities (PTN-BH), as stated in the Independent Campus policy in the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 4 Year 2020. Supporting this, the Faculty of Education held a Focus Group Dissussion (FGD) with the Faculty of Education, Semarang State University (Unnes) with the topic “Lecturers and Education Staff Readiness to Welcome the Transformation of PTN-BLU Towards PTN-BH” centered in the FIP Undiksha Seminar Room , on Tuesday (15/11/2022) morning.
On this occasion, the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd. His party together with the Chairperson of the FIP Undiksha Senate, Prof. Dr. Anak Agung Gede Agung, M.Pd., Dean of FIP Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Gading, M.Psi., Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. I Made Tegeh, S.Pd., M.Pd., Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., warmly welcomed the arrival of the Dean of FIP Unnes, Dr. Edy Purwanto, M.Si., and his entourage.
The activity was welcomed by the Dean of FIP, I Ketut Gading. He considered that so far the Faculty of Education had fulfilled several criteria towards becoming a PTN-BH. However, his party and staff continue to strive to optimize the indicators that are the benchmark for this achievement.
“We are still preparing to go to PTN-BH. Actually, we have fulfilled several points in the PTN-BH requirements. But there are some that haven’t, for example 60% of study programs are accredited Superior, Non-PNBP funding sources, International Publications, Intellectual Property Rights and Patents,” he said.
Furthermore, the Number One Person at FIP ??Undiksha conveyed several things that were of particular concern to lecturers and education staff in order to set foot towards the title of PTN-BH.
“For lecturers, it must increase scientific publications, development of Intellectual Property Rights and patents, professors, head professors, and doctoral education. Then employees must strive to develop governance that is accountable, transparent, effective and efficient at the same time,” he concluded. (hms Dewa Nida)
