Singaraja – Towards the end of the year, the Faculty of Education (FIP) at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) held an Evaluation and Reporting activity for the 2021 Journal and Publication Cluster. This activity was carried out semi-online in the FIP Meeting Room on Wednesday, (24/11/2021), by presenting the Chair of UPPBM Denpasar, who is also the Chair of the FIP Undiksha Journal and Publication Cluster, Prof. Dr. Anak Agung Gede Agung, M.Pd; Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. I Made Tegeh, S.Pd., M.Pd. as well as the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, who is also the Secretary of the FIP Undiksha Journal and Publication Cluster, Dr. I Wayan Widiana, S.Pd., M.Pd.
Confirmed after the activity, Prof. Agung explained that 10 journals in FIP Undiksha were SINTA indexed, with details of three journals having reached SINTA level 2, four journals having reached SINTA level 3, one journal being at SINTA level 4, and one journal still being at SINTA level. 5. Next year, the party hopes that all journals in FIP Undiksha can reach SINTA level 2, even reach DOAJ level. To achieve this, the number one person at UPPBM Denpasar revealed that there were several obstacles experienced, such as, there were several writers who had sent their writing, but it was not published. Apart from that, the FIP Undiksha journal management team is still very limited. So in the future, FIP Undiksha will strive to improve the performance of the journal.
“We are optimistic that in the future, if all journals are accredited by SINTA Level 2, then I am sure that many foreign articles will enter our journals, especially since our team’s enthusiasm, commitment, and hard work are very good,” he concluded.
