Singaraja– Faculty of Education (FIP) Undiksha is always committed to increasing the achievement of Main Performance Indicators (IKU) for higher education. To support this, various efforts have been made, one of which is through a Cooperation Agreement (PKS), with Yogyakarta State University (UNY), related to improving student achievement, which is packaged in workshop activities. The arrival of the FIP UNY group was warmly welcomed by the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. I Wayan Widiana, S.Pd., M.Pd, Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., Chairman of the Simkatmawa Cluster, I Kadek Edi Yudiana, S.Pd., M.Pd., along with staff, on Friday (16/09/2022) morning, centered in the Room FIP Undiksha Seminar.
The Cooperation Agreement document was signed directly by the Dean of FIP Undiksha, who was represented by the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. I Wayan Widiana, S.Pd., M.Pd., together with Deputy Dean 3 FIP UNY, Dr. Joko Pamungkas, M.Pd. After the activity, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni of FIP Undiksha, Putu Aditya, explained that the agreement discussed student programs, which consisted of increasing student achievement, implementing student exchanges, and collaborating on competitions. The Deputy Dean from Medahan Village, Gianyar emphasized that apart from referring to IKU achievements, the programs contained in this collaboration are also part of the upcoming Simkatmawa faculty ranking.
“Broadly speaking, there are 3 things we will work on together in this collaboration, the orientation of which is to make IKU a success,” he explained.
He further stated that his party together with the leadership always supervises students both in terms of coaching and funding, as an effort to increase achievements at the national and even international levels. He hopes that this collaboration can continue so that FIP ??Undiksha and FIP UNY can build achievements together.
“Budget management and student development are interesting things for us, to improve student achievement, and we will fight for this,” concluded Aditya.
Meanwhile, Deputy Dean 3 of FIP UNY, Joko Pamungkas, said that FIP ??Undiksha and FIP UNY have the same goal of increasing IKU achievements. Supporting this, his party initiated another meeting at FIP ??UNY, to discuss student programs that could be collaborated on in the coming year.
“So we have the same vision, to improve student achievement, especially in the field of education. “I hope that in the future there will be several programs that can be collaborated on, at least in 2023,” he said.
He assessed that FIP ??Undiksha has fast movement in terms of village projects and student entrepreneurship. He said that these two programs would be implemented at FIP ??UNY.
“We are interested in the village project program and student entrepreneurship, it seems that Undiksha has a faster movement in this regard,” he concluded. (hms Dewa Nida)
