Singaraja – The Undiksha Faculty of Education (FIP) Senate held a year-end report and reflection which took place in the Meeting Room of the Study Program of Faculty of Education Undiksha on Thursday (29/12/2022). It was chaired directly by the Chairman of the FIP Senate, Prof. Dr. Anak Agung Gede Agung, M.Pd. On that occasion, the Dean of FIP Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Gading, M.Psi., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. I Made Tegeh, S.Pd., M.Pd., Vice Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., Department Heads and Study Program Coordinators of FIP Undiksha.
In his presentation, Prof. Agung reported a number of work programs that were successfully achieved over a period of 1 year. He further said that the FIP senate has 2 commissions in which commission 1 owned 9 programs which were tasked with handling Quality Assurance, Tri Dharma (The Three Pillars) of Higher Education Cooperation, Student Affairs, and Alumni. While commission 2 owned 4 programsn which handled HR development planning.
He realized that the implementation would not be free from various obstacles. Nevertheless, the work program in 2022 has gone well with a success percentage of 99%. In the future, he and his staff will also continue to work on designing strategies for the upcoming 2023 period as an effort to improve the faculty quality.
“In general, the work program of the FIP Senate has been running well without any significant obstacles,” he explained.
In this welcomed discussion, a number of senate members contributed various thoughts in order to improve the student body in 2023.
“There are several new suggestion related to increasing the number of students such as recruiting new students from teachers to take part in the Extension program, but still with the regular program in which the learning is conducted online,” he concluded. (PR Dewa Nida)
