Singaraja– Faculty of Education (FIP) Undiksha held an online performance evaluation of the 2022 Innovation Cluster on Wednesday (14/12/2022). This activity was attended by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. I Made Tegeh, S.Pd., M.Pd., Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Widiana, M.Pd., Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd., and PGSD Study Program Coordinator, Dr. I Gede Margunayasa, S.Pd., M.Pd.
In his speech, Deputy Dean Tegeh, who represented the Dean, appreciated the performance of the Innovation Cluster. He said that various innovative works had been successfully presented in order to improve the quality of higher education.
“This group has been able to make a very big contribution to the progress of the faculty of education, especially with regard to IPR, the development of Book Chapters, some have even passed overseas and patent training,” he said.
Furthermore, the Deputy Dean from Panji Village, Buleleng hopes that in the coming year, the Innovation Cluster can increase the achievements of the work programs that have been established, both in terms of quality and quantity. Moreover, in the future, this group will be able to organize exhibitions of innovative work by lecturers and students. For this reason, it is said that the leadership always supports it by providing guidance and mentoring.
“In 2023, we must be even more creative, for example improving the performance of programs that are already running, then participating more intensively in competitions initiated by ministries and other universities,” continued Tegeh.
Meanwhile, the Chair of the Innovation Cluster, Dr. I Kadek Suartama, S.Pd., M.Pd., explained a number of programs that were successfully achieved during 1 year. It was explained that the 5 work programs designed for 2022 were implemented with a percentage of 90%. However, it is deemed necessary to reflect as an effort to optimize next year’s work programs.
“All programs have been implemented, but there are several important notes, such as the uneven distribution of IPR across all study programs, and the International Book Chapter seems to need to be improved,” he said.
For information, 1 Lecturer Chapter was successfully published in the International Book Chapter, then 27 Lecturer Chapters were published in the National Book Chapter, with details of 11 chapters in Volume I and 16 chapters in Volume II.
