Singaraja– Undiksha Faculty of Education (FIP) students have once again demonstrated their work on the national stage. This time, students from the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD), I Gusti Komang Agus Angga Putra Widiarta, succeeded in winning 1st place in the XVIII National Level Selection of Virtuous Youth (PRB) which was led by the Student Executive Board, Faculty of Education (BEM FIP) based at Undiksha Auditorium Building, Friday (28/10/2022). He, who represented FIP Undiksha, completed a series of insight tests with a score of 81.80. This achievement, of course, cannot be separated from the special training carried out before appearing in this prestigious event.
After the activity, he, who is familiarly called Angga, expressed his pride after being named a teenager with good character. Furthermore, he assessed that the role of the younger generation is very important in realizing the transformation of a nation with strong, intelligent character and noble morals. Therefore, this student who was born in 2002 is determined to promote the concept of good character to build the nation in a better direction, toward a Golden Indonesia in 2045.
“The nation’s transformation lies in the younger generation, and the foundation for that change is in character. “For this reason, I hope that the younger generation can build better character and become virtuous teenagers,” he said.
This achievement was welcomed positively by the Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Putu Aditya Antara, S.Pd., M.Pd. He, who was present at the activity, assessed that Angga’s achievements supported the Simkatmawa faculty ranking. The Deputy Dean from Medahan Village said that the leadership continues to strive to improve student achievement. The steps taken, of course, are by providing coaching, as well as disbursing special funds.
“This achievement will certainly add to our achievement data, I hope that in the future there will be many outstanding students like Angga. “We have also created a community to improve student achievement,” said Aditya.
It was also conveyed that his party together with the student affairs team would continue to provide guidance and prepare Angga as an Outstanding Student (Mawapres) FIP Undiksha. More than that, as a form of appreciation, he will equate the winning achievement to the course grade.
“We will develop Angga as Mawapres at FIP, and of course, at the end of the year, we will provide incentives to students who win. “More than that, we at FIP ??will convert 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners into course grades,” he concluded. (hms Dewa Nida)
