Singaraja – Undiksha’s Faculty of Education (FIP) through the Basic Education Student Association (HMJ Pendas) again held a Five XVI Regional Level Competition, which was opened in the FIP Undiksha Seminar Room, Saturday (29/10/2022) morning. The activity, which carries the theme “Creating Intelligent, Honest, and Skilled Successors of the Nation” through the XVI Five Subject Contest for Elementary School Levels throughout Bali, competes for the Rotating Cup for the Chancellor of the Ganesha University of Education.
The head of the committee, I Dewa Gede Agus Kusuma Yoga explained that hundreds of teams from various districts in Bali will compete in the preliminary round on 30 October 2022. Furthermore, the teams that qualify will take part in the semifinals and final which will be held on 06 November 2022, centered on in the FIP B Lecture Room and Postgraduate Auditorium Room.
“A total of 119 teams participated, consisting of 25 teams in the Singaraja area, 46 teams in the Denpasar area, 28 teams in the Jembrana area, and 20 teams in the Klungkung area. Participants will take part in the elimination round in each region. Then later 12 teams will be selected to go to the semifinals, “said Dewa.
After opening the activity, the Dean of FIP Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Gading, M.Psi., positively welcomed the flagship activity of HMJ Pendas. The number one person at FIP ??Undiksha emphasized that the leadership really supports the student program which refers to the transformation of the nation. Support has been demonstrated by funding, coaching, and mentoring.
“We appreciate this activity which has been going on for 16 years, the participants have even increased from the previous year. If possible, do it at the national level. We have prepared funds and coaching for the implementation of activities that lead to character building,” he concluded. (hms Dewa Nida)
