Singaraja– Students from the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) FIP Undiksha held an Education Webinar as a form of implementation of the Student Exchange Program at Semarang State University (UNNES), Saturday (18/12/2021) yesterday. This activity, which was held online, raised the theme “The Existence of Culture-Based Scientific Writing (KTI) in the Era of Society 5.0”, by presenting 2 (two) resource persons who are competent in their fields, namely the Secretary of the Basic Education Department, Dr. I Gede Astawan, S.Pd., M.Pd. and PGSD FIP UNNES Lecturer, Susilo Tri Widodo, S.Pd., M.H, M.CE.
In his presentation of material, regarding Tips for Developing Creativity in Writing Scientific Papers (Journals and Theses) in the Era of Society 5.0, I Gede Astawan explained that in the era of society 5.0, humans must have the ability called creativity, where this creativity is the ability to creating something new, whether it is really a new thing or a new idea obtained by connecting several existing things and making them into something new.
“A writer’s success in writing scientific papers is determined by the writer’s ability to read and carry out writing exercises so that many new ideas and innovative creativity will emerge,” he added.
He further stated that iteration, creativity, and innovation are a series of tips for developing creativity in writing scientific papers.
Susilo Tri Widodo also expressed the same thing, when presenting material on the Problems and Systematics of Writing Scientific Writing (Journals and Theses) in the Era of Society 5.0, where in this case everything is centered on humans (human-centered) and technology-based (technology-based). This can be seen in Education Regulations, Quality of Human Resources, and Educational Culture, which were stated in the Society 5.0 era.
They also confirmed that critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creativity, compassion, and computational thinking, become a strategy in facing all the challenges in this era.
“In compiling this scientific work, there are several problems that are often encountered, namely difficulty finding relevant topics, not finding problems, weakness in carrying out analysis, lack of writing skills, difficulty finding reference sources, and lack of enthusiasm,” he explained. “Furthermore, a writer must have an idea when writing his scientific work. The systematics of writing scientific papers also need to be considered in detail, in order to obtain appropriate results. “The methods used in writing scientific work, especially theses and journals, are qualitative, quantitative, and development methods,” he concluded.
