Methode-learning It has been implemented by the PDSD study program, Faculty of Education, Undiksha since last year, although it has not been implemented in full. Only after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and the issuance of regulations for online lectures last March, did the PGSD study program begin to apply the method of learning fully. This method was created throughout 16 meetings and is used by all lecturers and students of the PGSD study program. The Study Program Coordinator as administrator is also involved in monitoring the progress of the lecture process.
Dr. I Gede Margunayasa, S.Pd., M.Pd as the coordinator of the PGSD study program explained the implementation of the program-learning This is very good because the system has been prepared since last year and the lecturers have already made the equipment. “The system we use in our e-learning is the PeDaTi system. The P is learn, D is explore, T is apply, and I is evaluate.”
What is meant by the study is that material is prepared in the form of PDF, PowerPoint, or Video for students to study. Then what is deeper is the provision of a discussion forum, in each subject in each class there will be 2 discussion topics that must be answered and commented on by the lecturer. Meanwhile, implementation can be done through creating assignments. This assignment is not given at every meeting but is given 4 times during 16 meetings, namely at meetings 4, 7, 12, and 15. The settings are the same and apply to all courses. The last one is evaluation. Evaluation is carried out twice, namely during the mid-semester exam and the final semester exam.
As an evaluation material for the PGSD study program, 302 responses were received from a form of questionnaire form which was distributed for 2 days. The result is average usage-learning by students is 3 hours per day. As many as 56% of respondents could access e-learning smoothly while the remaining 44% said it was not smooth due to internet signal problems. So Marguna concluded the level of success was very good.
The advantage of the system-learning used by the PGSD study program is that lecturers and students do not need to meet face to face, apart from that the system is also used asynchronous and synchronously, “system-learning we use the system asynchronous in the sense that students read, study independently at home, then answer discussions, answer assignments then send them and so on. Then at certain times, the lecturer will also comment on the answers sent by students. Well, the only downside is there are some problems with the signal, but because we use it asynchronously it’s not too much of a problem, the signal problem can still be overcome. Well systeme-learning We also complete it with methods synchronous that is, we expect lecturers and students to meet face to face using Google Meet “2 times for each subject in each class,” explained Marguna
Students also responded positively to the methode-learning According to Marguna, they hope that e-learning courses will continue next semester with an even better system. Marguna also confirmed that the odd semester method would still be used under the Minister of Education and Culture’s policy regarding online learning. Some of the preparations that will be made are improving the system, establishing learning tools, creating interesting features such as evaluations in the form of quizzes, and completing existing guidelines. By the end of July, it is targeted that all lecturer devices will be ready and input into the systeme-learning PGSD until Auguste-learning It can now be accessed on the Undiksha website. In this way, it is hoped that students will be interested in taking part in lecture-based courses-learning and that learning objectives can be achieved.
